Charles Phoenix Cake & Cocktails at The Monkey Tree Hotel

February 25, 2017 | 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm |

The Palm Springs Modern Committee presents an exclusive yellow and turquoise themed poolside party at the newly restored Monkey Tree Hotel, built in 1962.

Charles Phoenix hosts, with Monkey Tree Hotel owners, Kathy and Gary Friedle, winners of the Palm Springs Modern Committee 2016 Commercial Restoration Award.

The festive yellow and turquoise theme is inspired by the Monkey Tree’s cheery color scheme and authentic midcentury modern style and décor. Theme appropriate craft cocktails, beer and wine will be served. Following a toast, an eye-popping, taste bud-tantalizing, towering cake, will be served in the tradition of the Charles Phoenix Test Kitchen meets the Monkey Tree Hotel’s classic Palm Springs style.

Festive Turquoise and Yellow dress is highly encouraged!

The Palm Springs Modern Committee (PS ModCom) is a non-profit organization dedicated to the appreciation and preservation of Desert Modern architecture and design.
