February 23, 2017 | 9:30 am - 11:30 am |

Stars of Hollywood’s Golden Age along with today’s hottest celebrities have partied and vacationed in the inns of this historic neighborhood, from Joan Crawford and Clark Gable to Miley Cyrus and Queen Latifah. You will learn the history of the unique hotels and inns in Palm Springs as you visit some of our most charming and beautiful examples. For decades these boutique hotels have provided the Rich and Famous with seclusion and relaxation in exclusive, luxurious settings. Legendary celebrities have used the inns for honeymoon hideaways and some have celebrated wedding events here, including Frank Sinatra.

You will experience a retro trip to a 1947 hotel designed by the famous Modernist architect William Cody. Along the way, you will see a variety of architectural styles, including Spanish Colonial Revival, Hollywood Regency and Desert Modernism. You will learn fascinating “only in Palm Springs” tales of the Glamour Set, then and now, who truly perfected the art of pleasure in this desert oasis. Join us for a VIP experience among these inns whose guest books are a Who’s Who of the famous of show business, finance, industry and politics.
