Open to the public for the first time, Luxe Interiors + Design Magazine’s Modernism Week Show House: The Christopher Kennedy Compound, celebrates the Palm Springs legacy of mid-century modern architecture and jet set American style. Specifically created to raise funds for Modernism Week and other preservation efforts, this quintessential desert remodel respects the property’s architectural pedigree while updating it with the best and brightest materials in modern design.
This showcase home, named for tastemaker Christopher Kennedy, who spearheaded the project, includes rooms created by today’s most respected voices in interior design and home furnishings including Celerie Kemble, Jiun Ho, Trina Turk, Lori Dennis,Patrick Dragonette, Thomas Lavin, Sammy Castro, Ron Woodson and Jaime Rummerfield. This architecturally significant John Caranci home, inspired by the work of Stan Sackley, circa 1971, has been reimagined for today’s style of Southern California living by this unparalleled roster of celebrity designers. Their vision has been brought to life by First Atrium Construction in partnership with Cosentino, Crossville, Aran Cucine, Neo-Metro, Gessi, LaCantina Doors, Crestron Electronics, Sherwin-Williams, Monica Stone Fabrication and more than three dozen local and national residential design resources like Pirch, Egg & Dart Showrooms, Savage Home and Modern Home.
