Official Opening Ceremony and Reception

Join us for Modernism Week's opening event: the second annual lighting of significant mid-century modern building facades along Palm Canyon Drive. Designated modern buildings will be illuminated for the duration of Modernism Week, proudly showing off our unique architecture. This year two new buildings will be added: Dr. Kaplan's Medical Building designed by William Krisel and the Palm Springs Art Museum's Edwards Harris Center for Architecture designed by E. Stewart Williams.

Reception, including proclamation from the City of Palm Springs, and an official welcome from the Modernism Week Board of Directors. No host bar and delightful appetizers provided by Birba Restaurant.
